Whitney Cathey was born and raised in the Cedar Creek Lake area and has loved serving the community as a trusted Realtor for the past 8 years. She was also the second highest producing agent at her previous brokerage in 2017.



It was destiny that Whitney quickly became a respected member in her field. From being captain of the cheer squad at Mabank High to working two jobs to put herself through college, Whitney has shown the leadership and commitment to being the best at whatever she is doing. Her love of finding people the right place to live started years ago. While in college, Whitney had an integral role in assisting students to find the appropriate housing while working for the Living and Learning office at Tarleton State University.

RACHEL WAS BORN IN AMARILLO TEXAS AND MOVED TO BORGER TEXAS IN 1974. SHE GRADUATED FROM BORGER HIGH SCHOOL IN 1988 AND STUDIED SPEECH COMMUNICATION IN COLLEGE. IN 2004, SHE OBTAINED HER REAL ESTATE LICENSE AND STARTED HER CAREER AT CENTURY 21 A-1 WESTERN REALTORS WITHIN A YEAR SHE WAS AWARDED THE MASTER RUBY GOLD AWARD IN 2005, 2007, 2009, 2012, AND 2015 FOR OUTSTANDING SALES. SHE HAS SOLD OVER 200 HOMES IN THE AMARILLO AREA MAKING HER A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR SALES AGENT IN TEXAS. SHE IS A MEMBER OF THE AMARILLO ASSOCIATION AND REALTORS, THE TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS AND THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS. SHE MARRIED BRIAN ROONEY IN 1996 AND STARTED HER FAMILY 1998. SHE HAS TWO DAUGHTERS TIFFANY AMBER ROONEY AND BRITTANY NICOLE ROONEY. SHE LOVES TO CRUISE WITH HER FAMILY AND LOVES TO SPEND TIME WITH HER GIRLS. I'm a proud native Texan and moved back to Tyler in 2010. In 2014 I completed my Associates Degree in Business Management from Tyler Junior College and earned my real estate license. I joined Keller Williams Realty in 2015 for their education classes and open door policy with agents.In life, you need either Inspiration or Desperation to motivate you.
